I have been working to get the URL shorteners I use to track my clicks, then extend the functionality.
Mostly I use http://bit.ly to shorten my urls, and I love the service.
But I did run into a need to have multiple URL’s added to one shortened URL.
I ran into http://furl.ly that does a pretty good job. I like the top header so the user will know there is something else in this link.
Issue 1: http://furl.ly kept rendering my Android Market links blank. I though this might be the service so…
I then tried http://bridgeurl.com/ as an alternative. But I faced the same issue with the a Android market links.
Come to find out, these tools use <iFrame> tags to render the page, and Android Market, along with other site block their site from loading in an <iFrame> tag.
issue 2: I then wanted to use bit.ly to shorten my url so I could track clicks, so I created a short version of my short url http://bit.ly/zYF56y and found a nasty error
